Friday First - Ice Skating!

Sheesh, can not believe I haven't posted this one yet, but I am going through my pics and just discovered these!

C went skating for the first time on Jan 1!  My friend Gina invited us to go Skating with her down at the Capitol so we did, Cassie did a GREAT job, she was marching like a pro even in those horrendous rented skates...she made her mommy VERY proud :) Cant wait to get the both of us our own pairs so we can go again!

Friday First - Play-Doh

C got some play-doh for her birthday this year!  It's been on my list of things to make, but I just haven't gotten the chance.  But any how, I finally broke it out the other day.

At first C had NO idea what to do with it, but she got around to experimenting with it.  She loved picking off the tiniest pieces she could and tried putting it back in the container that way...

 

But she soon tired of that and just started stuffing it back in...

Then she she discovered if she drove her truck over it it made cool indents in it...

   

And then finally she figured out that her fingers could make cool shapes with it too!

And that she could squish it, and it wouldn't stick to her fingers!  She loved that part :) 

Foto Friday ~ Fun in the Snow

We FINALLY got some snow!  Not much only a couple inches, still snow blow-able and still play outside in it-able!  so we put A down for a nap and headed out side with C (it was still a bit wet and cold for the littlest Miss to come out and join us so she stayed inside in the nice warm house with grandma keeping an eye over the monitor) C Had a blast going sledding on the tube that Santa dropped off for the family :)

She found some flowers that had dried up but were still standing and with the snow covering them she thought they were wishing flowers :) so she had to blow on them, unfortunately snow isn't as easy to blow away for wish making so daddy had to help a little...

Daddy broke out the snow blower and went to town while C and I went back inside and got nice and warm.

Friday First!!

And so I have a Friday First to post!!! Yay first one in a long time...

It's official A has not only her first tooth, but her second as well!  Look out real big people food, we are coming for you!

Two questions to accompany today's Foto Friday post... 1) How in the world did I get so lucky as to have these to amazing daughters as my own and 2) How in the world are they getting sooooo big sooooo fast??

Foto Friday Pictures from Daddy

We got C a white board for her birthday since she just loves playing with Daddy's when we visit him at work. I mean what's not to love draw, erase and repeat to your heart's content :).

Anyway every morning so far Daddy has left us girls a message. Cassie loves coming out each morning to see her note then color it in :)

2011 in review...

So 2011 Turned out to be a pretty great year, we hit so many milestones and had a ton of adventures!  Really looking forward to 2012 to see what new adventures it brings!

In 2011 we...

Finally moved into our new home!  Complete with the occasional cow across the street :) 

We got to celebrate C's first birthday in said new home!

C had her first trip to Emergent Care and had a wonderful bruised/swollen/infected face for Easter

The Monday after Easter A made her entrance into the world!  She was such a good girl to wait till Mommy's doctor was back on rotation :) 

We cut a hole in the house and finished up Grandma's apartment!

We got to go Geocaching!  Once.

M and I celebrated 10 years of being together and 4 years being Married :)

We hit up Alive @ 5 for Allie's first Haggis show 

We road tripped down to Tennessee to see the TN V's and stopped in NC to see Aunt Mary, Can't wait to go back!!

It was A"s first time in the ocean, I think she loved it!

C went to her first live show in a theater, Yo Gabba Gabba at the Palace, she had a blast.

We had SNOW in OCTOBER!

C started Soccer Tots

A had her first trip to Lake Placid, though it was A bit colder than when C had her first trip, think we will go again in the summer :) 

And even though we had a positively green and brown Christmas, I think it was still a pretty great one, especially since it was A's First!

Oh and somewhere in the middle of all that we had this little Hurricane, no pics really of that though :) we survived, and even though we were way over prepared (I think) thankfully we were truly lucky damage wise, we didn't even lose power thankfully.  Just a couple of poison sumac trees and good riddance to those.

Like I said before, can't wait to see what Adventures 2012 brings our way!
